I recently noticed 60c+ temperatures in the dashboard, is it safe to use at this temperatures? Why the temperature is so high? There are no issues in functionality everything works great, sounds wonderful too. I am using a basic heat sink on PI4, the DAC was in master mode and using a isolator between DAC and PI4 in a well ventilated case in ventilated area with lot of airflow and away for dust. Mostly Ill listen to paradise radio and my collection from NAS through ethernet, UPNP was enabled too. Adding a screenshot kindly check it guys.

PS: The SMPD was so great that I am not listening to my desktop DACs anymore. The passion for pristine quality of sound and your dedication towards improving everything even the minor details is well appreciated guys. Using it from more than an year, sometimes I think that I am not able to help in any development processes cause I don't know much about any of the programming stuff. Sorry guys I am just an ordinary guys who loves music. The only down side I noticed with the SMPD is it won't let us listen to anything else, we cannot carry it in our pocket for listening and In my country cannot get hands on Sabre DAC suggested by some of SMPD users. Love you Guys thank you vey much.

Temperature 65c+ is so high from ideal.
Please check your environment below.

"ps aux" command (or "top" command via ssh connection)
In my environment, cpu load is only 0.7% if my RPi4 plays 44.1kHz flac music file.
If you see heavy cpu load process, please show the name of procss (maybe any process running in heavy cpu load).

Send the support log to support address of smpd
Fetch and download the support log via SUPPORT plugin and send it to support address.
If papalius isn't busy, he may analyze the support log and send you any ideas.

Thanks a lot for a quick response. Nothing is using CPU load. I attached a screenshot kindly check(The screenshot was taken when playing flac ). I sent the support log to the support address also.

Hmm, there are no high cpu load process.
So, I think you should check your heatsink or case.

I'm using this case covering the RPi4 without gpio slot and sound hat card,
and covering with more biggler (width 111.5 x height 65 x depth 120mm) aluminum case for Electrostatic shielding and heat diffusion.
Inner case is in contact with the heat spreader of the RPi4 CPU with a heat-dissipating silicon sheet.

In my environment, CPU temp is 36(present) 〜 42(in summer) c+.

The case I am using is acrylic case image added below. The problem is the case won't support the heat sink because of the bottom screws. To put a fan on the pi is impossible cause there will be a isolator board and on that isolator DAC board. Total of 2 boards on top of PI. Any ideas how to put a fan or any other way to cool it. Thanks in advance.
