ソースコードのクリーンアップがメインで、動作はβ2とほぼ同じです。

なるほど。ネットワーク負荷を平準化させ、最適化させようというわけですね。
直結は「やりたければどうぞ」ということでしょうか。まあ、USBアダプターを使ったLAN位しか方法がないので、素直にハブに繫ぐ方が正解かもしれませんね。
パパリウス様 ｖ.1.0.8β3に入れ替えをさせていただきました。先日のｖ.1.0.8β1と同様何も問題がございません。

いつもご報告ありがとうございます。
β3はデバッグコードなど正式版には不要になる処理を綺麗に取り除いたバージョンになります。
音質面はこれまでで最良のものに仕上がりました。
特に問題が出なければ、このまま正式版としてリリースしたいと思っています。
パパリウスさま、いつも大変良い音を楽しまさせていただいております。もしできれば連休中に正式版としてリリースいただければ幸いです。よろしくお願いいたします。

リリースを楽しみにしていただいたのに、申し訳ありません。
DeltaWaveのスレッドに書き込みしたように、バージョン間の差異を精密に測定できるようになりました。
これを活用してじっくりチューニングを進めてから正式リリースしたいと思っています。

SB32+PRO DoPと、Allo digioneを使用しています。
SB32+PRO DoPでは、問題無くRadioが鳴りますが、Allo digioneですと、Radio（Linn classical）を鳴らそうとすると、秒数のカウントが1秒で止まり、そのあと、time outとなり、全く鳴りません。
過去の書き込みを参考に、MPDの設定について、
バッファを640から960、Float→Integerを24に変更してみましたが、状況変わらずです。
なんとかDashboardを取ってみると、Format欄が空白となっていました。
接続も途切れるようですが、rebootを押した後、数分したらrebootされました。
対応方法について、ご教示下さい。
Logも取れましたので、後程お送りします。

Just providing feedback and encouragement for the excellent sound of β3.
The concepts you are implementing in this version appear to have compelling simplicity to them.
I have now tried β3 and played without a reboot and at first, I found that the player would not execute the play from the NAS until the 2nd or 3rd click of the play. It would pop but not play. That error reduced after a few instances and I also rebooted after a few hours and now I can not reproduce that error.
I am astounded by the improvement.
Describing improvements in sound is like catching air but I will try.
The timbre and sonority of the music has improved greatly. In comparison to previous version, the notes seem to be more complete in a way where the previous version might have flat spots around the edge of a circle, now the circle seems to be better formed. I think I hear more of the acoustic of the recording. The silence between notes is easier to hear and instruments and the notes they are playing seem to be easier to hear and there is more information in that note compared to the previous version.
I heard this all from the first recording I tried and I ended up listening for a few hours because I was hearing so much better into my collection.
I wait for the final release and in the meantime I will continue listening to β3.

こちらで確認したところfloat_format指定の機能に不具合がありました。
お手数ですが、/usr/bin/mpdを差し替えて動作確認してみていただけませんでしょうか。

You will need to reboot after the driver is replaced. I apologize for the lack of guidance on the procedure.
I have the same impression about the sound quality.
The depiction of the mid and high frequencies in the beta version shows promise.
On the other hand, during long listening sessions, I find the current version (v1.0.7) to be more comfortable and stable in its bandwidth balance and low frequency representation.
The 1.0.8 beta was a major operation that changed nearly 20% of the source of the rtalsa/xsink drivers.
By removing minor coarseness in the implementation and proceeding with revisions as we conduct more listening tests, I believe we can achieve a better balance.
Please be patient for the official release.

先ほど、Allo digioneの方のmpd変更を試してみました。float→Integerを＊：24：＊にて、鳴るようになりました。ありがとうございます。バッファはデフォルト640でOKでした。
質問で申し訳ございませんが、SB32+PRO DoPですと、float→Integerの設定が＊：32：＊で鳴るのに、Allo digioneで鳴らないのは何故でしょうか？また、float→Integerをnoneにしたら鳴らないのは何故でしょうか？（Streamの基本的なところを理解しておらず、恐縮です。）
お手隙でしたらご教授の程、よろしくお願いいたします。

PCMにはfloat pcmとinteger pcmという規格があります。
ネットラジオにはfloat pcmでエンコードされたものもよくあります。
DAC側がfloat pcmを受けることができるならnone指定で変換なしに再生できると思います。
DAC側が受け付けない場合は、integer pcmへの変換を指定する必要があります。
ALSAライブラリを使う音楽ソフトの大半は、サウンドカードが対応しているフォーマットを検査して必要に応じて自動変換してくれます。
smpdではこのような自動変換を避け、DAC側の仕様を踏まえてユーザー自身に変換の設定をしてもらうようにしています。
不便な面もありますが、どのような変換が行われるかは全てユーザーが把握するのが望ましいと思っています。
SPDIFは仕様上、上限が24bitに定められています。このため、digioneのようなSPDIF出力のDDCではfloat pcmの変換設定として24bitを指定していただくのが適切です。

こんばんは、ｖ．1.0.8β４アップ難うございます。
今回はDDCにallo-digioneを使いDACは中華製のES9038PROに同軸接続してDoPを192.32.２にセットして鳴らしてみました。
PCM音源は44.1ｋHz,96ｋHz,192ｋHzいずれも正常に再生できました。
DSDは2.8M音源は正常に再生出来ましたが5.6M音源がスロー再生になってしまいます。DACの表示は192ｋHz表示となってます。
一方、ES9038Q2Mで鳴らしたときは全ての音源で正常動作が出来ました。原因がわかりません。宜しくお願いいたします。

DSD5.6MHzをDoPで再生する場合、「DoPマーカー付きの352.8kHzのPCM」のような形でDSDデータが流れていくことになります。
そのため、DDCが352.8kHzに対応しているかどうかがポイントになるかと思います。
